This job reports to our Brea, CA, office from Mondays to Thursdays, with a remote work schedule on Fridays.

THAMPICO LLC was founded in 2020 to provide consulting and advisory services for the renewable energy and transportation infrastructure sectors. We are looking for a full-time Consulting Analyst who will be working on a range of assignments. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary integrated team to help deliver solutions for clients in the energy and transportation sectors. The role will require a very effective communicator who is easily able to translate verbal and written directions into action.

This position will allow you to develop core consulting skills and business acumen while benefiting from ample training and development activities. You will have highly visible experience as a key contributor on client engagements while delivering meaningful work on energy and transportation projects of significance.

Job Description

The key functions of the Consulting Analyst role are as follows:

  • Performing market research, data analysis and modelling to address complex business problems
  • Contributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations and reports
  • Administering, implementing and monitoring software systems and platforms

Educational Background and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required - preferably within the past 3 to 5 years
  • At least two previous work roles in which you were responsible for developing reports, models and presentations (work samples will be requested)
  • Preferred: professional (not academic) experience delivering assignments under strict time deadlines

Technological aptitude:

  • A high degree of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint (or the equivalent Google applications)
  • Comfort with data analysis and/or visualization tools (e.g. SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Previous usage of document management systems (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
