We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Early Intervention Coordinator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Early Intervention Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to children with developmental disabilities and their families. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to children with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop individualized care plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of each child
- Implement behavior management strategies and techniques
- Assist with medication administration, as needed
- Coordinate and facilitate early intervention services
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers and behavioral health specialists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and other team members
Skills:
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on providing compassionate support
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Experience in childcare or related field
- Understanding of behavioral health concepts and strategies
- Proficient in behavior management techniques
- Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in direct support roles preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols for children
