Overview:
What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Receiving Agent performs professional work and deliveries, in support of all Food and Beverage Departments and other resort departments, of multiple items/activities to include receiving goods to maintain and/or support programs, projects and data entry. They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times.


Your Role:

  • Coordinate traffic logistics of loading dock area.
  • Receive and log incoming deliveries / outgoing returns & pickups per department requirements and/or BEO/Vendor/Dept Manager written request.
  • Verify deliveries are per specifications and quality levels.
  • Alert management and seek advisement regarding any shortages in expected deliveries, unmatched invoices and other questionable circumstances.
  • Sign and code invoices per department requirements.
  • Coordinates activity, organization, sanitation and cleanliness of general storerooms and Food and Beverage (Culinary) storage areas.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of main loading dock area inside and outside the building.
  • Help to resolve problems when things aren’t quite right.
  • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
  • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate daily with Purchasing Manager.
  • Assist other departments as needed.

Your Environment: Controlled indoor temperatures, could experience high temperatures and high humidity to freezing temperatures during various seasons of the year due to logistics of loading dock area and work done in walk-in coolers/freezers. Varied volume levels based on storeroom and loading dock activity levels. Standing and walking on hard surface flooring, possibility for wet floors, grass, pool deck and carpet - non-slip shoes a must! Strongly recommend that shoes have safety toe feature.
Qualifications:
What are we looking for?


The right person will be show excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will also have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience in a similar role and/or food and beverage / hospitality environment.


In addition, the right candidate match should have or be able to:


  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Preferably 1 year food and beverage receiving experience.
  • Be well organized and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to read and write in English language.
  • Good verbal communications in English language.
Able to frequently lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 lbs, and occasionally lift, or push up to 100 lbs, such lifting includes carrying weight upstairs and downstairs.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
