Associate Manager/Supervisor - Pop-up - Elixir Bar

The Alchemist's Kitchen is a leading destination for plant medicines and premium state-changing elixirs for health and healing. We educate, connect, and engage with a community focused on personal growth via plant-based health. Our flagship apothecary and elixir bar is based in the Soho neighborhood of New York.

Currently looking for a new member to help supervise our team and represent our image! (Barista, Mixology, herbalist experience is a plus). This will be a full time temporary position for a pop-up art show opportunity at Rockefeller Center.

Ideally looking for someone with Barista or Mixology experience who is wanting to branch of the the world of herbal non-alcoholics. Someone who has a strong passion for plant medicine and plant magic along with a desire to learn. Someone who has a strong compassion for wanting to help educate, destigmatize, and heal people through the various plant remedies we offer. Someone who is tapped into the energies of themselves in relation to the spiritual. A chance for their inner witch to blossom.

Food Handlers license a plus!

Main roles and responsibilities include:

• Maintaining cleanliness of Elixir Bar
• Be the point of contact for any inquiries
• Report to upper management at Soho Location
• Assess needs for restocking
• Checking in with employees
• Hoping behind register to check people out.
• Creating non-alcoholic ‘state changing’ Elixirs, adaptogenic brews, tea blends, coffee for customers.
• Answering questions on what each elixir does (joy, clarity, spirit)
• Answering questions about different drinks and retail.
• Availability for possible future after hour events.

Searching for Part-time to start off with possibility of going full-time after a 6 month pop-up ends. This position will also be cross trained at our Elixir Bar in Soho, NY.

Employed as a 1099

Starting pay at 24$/h
