Driver

The Alexandre Co. is a company is a full service logistic and delivery service, specializing in box truck delivery. Logistic excellence is what we strive for and we hope to onboard employees strive for excellence as well. As a driver you will gain invaluable experience on running and maintaining individual day to day operations, in addition to responsibilities of the box truck delivery service. We are looking for strong, thoughtful, and reliable employees who strive to do their best.

Employees are given the decision to proceed with either 1099 employment status or w-2 employment status. Employees are eligible for overtime or bonuses following 30 days of employment.

Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:

· Drive and operate trucks.

· Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.

· Pre-inspect truck.

· Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.

· Load and unload cargo.

· Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.

· Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy

· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:

· Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge

· Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day

· Able to pass random drug tests

· Clean driving record

· No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years

· Listening and verbal communication skills

· Dependability

· Active Driver's License

Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 21 years or older

· Must have smart phone

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
