Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
1 to 3 years of experience accounting or related field in a professional setting
Knowledge of accounting principles, month-end close, and financial statements
Intermediate or higher proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
Experience with automating accounting processes a plus
Team-oriented attitude
Dedication to confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Developing a comprehensive understanding of accounting processes
Collect and enter invoices, carefully review statements from vendors, remit payment to vendors, and track company spend using accounting software
Maintain general ledger via daily bookkeeping tasks and month-end close procedures
Collaborate and deliver weekly Cost of Goods Sold reporting to ownership, chefs, and managers
Enter and track daily sales data for restaurants
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax preparation and filings
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Uphold high standards of professionalism and communication
Work under the guidance of business team leadership
