Our Front Counter Servers are the primary point of contact for guests. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with the public and have a friendly, outgoing personality. The ideal candidate provides exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers. Responsibilities:
Arrives to work on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts
Provides excellent customer service, greets customers upon arrival, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner; answers phones promptly and courteously
Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing and proper product rotation
Proactively familiarizes oneself on all products offered
Stocks and cleans shelves and display areas; ensures accuracy of item signs and pricing
Maximizes sales potential through effective product display, customer interactions and suggestive selling techniques
Performs opening and closing duties as assigned
Immediately reports safety hazards and violations
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Operates quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, time-driven environment, while ensuring high quality customer service
Ability to meet customer service expectations/standards in all interactions with customers and co-workers
Ability to attend to customers and sell items proactively
Ability/willingness to learn basic knowledge of all bakery products
Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills
Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
Strong work ethic; willing to lend a hand wherever/whenever needed
Punctual and reliable
Experience: Entry Level - no prior experience required / strong willingness to learn
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Must have the physical ability to carry out the functions of the job
Standing/walking 6-8 hours (in an 8-hour work day)
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Required Availability:
Tuesday - Sunday (closed Mondays)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
