Maintenance Director

Arbor Terrace Middletown is an award-winning community providing Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care in beautiful Middletown, New Jersey.

The Maintenance Director is responsible for leadership and oversight for the overall physical building and property, safety program and preventative maintenance plan, and building repairs. This role directly supervises, motivates, and encourages employees in Maintenance and Housekeeping. An ideal candidate is a self-starter who has excellent problem-solving skills, can handle multiple tasks and priorities and has effective written and verbal communication.

• Ability to manage a warranty spreadsheet
• 3 to 5 years Managerial experience in a Senior Living Organization.
• Exceptional technology experience preferred ( PC, Smart phone, Nurse call system and door fob systems)
• Ability to physically participate on the maintenance and housekeeping teams.
• Possible experience in a start up community to include:

Hiring
Team building
Task creation for staff
Scheduling

Prior experience with electrical, HVAC, or plumbing would be an added benefit. Strong organizational skills and time management are also preferred. The Maintenance Director is a valued member of the community's leadership team.
