Position Overview: As the Assistant Director, you'll help support people in finding good jobs and growing our program. You'll work with the community to develop jobs and improve our public relations.

What we're looking for:

• A good communicator.
• Creativity and the ability to make things happen.
• Leadership skills to help the people we support to lead fulfilling lives.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is preferred.
• 4 years of experience leading programs for people with disabilities is required.
• Experience in Vocational Rehabilitation, job development, contract management, and program development is desired.
• A valid NYS driver's license and use of your vehicle is required.

Things you'll do:

• Set goals to create a nurturing environment, creative jobs, and meet financial targets.
• Lead your team to develop opportunities and help people learn and use job skills.
• Build relationships with employers and teach them the value of supporting diverse employees.
• Creatively connect support programs and community-based employment.
• Coordinate various employment options for people in our community.
• Create and support your team's development goals.
• Monitor contract goals and manage both performance and finances.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff who value diverse work options
