Summary / Objective:
Advances the mission of ArcGNO by executing, supporting, and coordinating HR activities necessary to recruit, onboard, train, and retain the highest possible caliber of staff for the benefit of those whom we serve. Special focus is given to recruitment and onboarding.
Essential Functions: The below are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties as assigned.
Oversees all HR initiatives, and systems.
Builds trust-based relationships with supervisors, managers, directors and senior leadership and HR team.
Processes all job requests and post open positions internally and externally.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for vacant positions.
Track applicants and prospective candidates as they move through the hiring process.
Review all applications received for open positions within the ATS system; initiates the pre-screening interview process for vacant positions; and provide qualified and potential candidates to the hiring managers for review.
Schedule interviews for the hiring managers and send calendar invites for interviews.
Processes new hires, including initiating ESR in the HRIS system.
Performs all background checks, DSW registry, OIG, and MVR’s (if applicable) for job applicants.
Perform quarterly DSW registry, OIG, and MVRs on all employees as required
Complete employee/wage verification for past and present employees.
Update job descriptions as needed, using new format and logo.
Schedule and conduct new employee orientation and First Aid/CPR training, as needed.
Assists employees with troubleshooting and/or resolving employment-related issues.
Prepare new-employee files.
Participates in and promotes company-wide employee engagement and retention activities.
Updates job titles/benefits on HRIS software platform.
Serve as backup for processing incident/accident reports (claims, reports, drug & alcohol testing.)
Serves on Safety Committee.
Processes check requests for recruiting activities.
Applicable to all positions: Know job role of each position.
Attend job and college fairs and seminars
Maintains employee HR files; to ensure that employee records are maintained properly, in compliance with
applicable policy, CARF and state and federal regulations and complies with appliable retention schedules and consistently remain in an orderly fashion.
Perform primary source license verification on all license employees at new hire and yearly.
Filing of documents in employee personnel file
Serves as backup for employee relations (benefits, EEOC's, Unemployment, Grievances, etc.).
Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable EEO and related employment laws and regulations.
Knowing and carrying out the published policies of the agency.
Back up to the front administrative office

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Travel
Travel to various sites and external meetings as needed/required. Must have a valid Driver’s License and Auto insurance.
Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications
High School Diploma, Certification or College Degree in Human Resources Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years HR/ Recruiting experience preferred.
Accurate data entry skills, organizational and follow-up skills.
Good verbal/written skills, good interpersonal and listening skills.
Adept with various computer applications, including Microsoft Suite and electronic HRIS software systems
Proven ability to present information competently in front of audiences with ease.
Proven ability to coordinate events across multiple sites annually.
Covid-19 vaccination required.
