We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, and contributing to a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of high-tech proficiency and high-touch interpersonal skills, along with creativity and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
HR Functions:
- Performs administrative duties for the CHRO which may include coordination of administrative functions in the overall needs of the HR Department including new HR initiatives, organization of electronic files, Compensation, Talent Development, Wellness, Committees and Focus Groups.
- Coordinate the processing of Leave Administration including FMLA, TDI, Workers Compensation, Leave of Absence, ADA, and other leaves.
- Create, run, compile, and analyze HR reports and provide recommendations.
- Conduct audits on HR data and records, and assist in auditing payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate training functions by scheduling training sessions, managing training materials, and tracking employee participation.
- Assist in the design of visually captivating HR materials, including brochures, flyers, and posters, to effectively promote HR initiatives, benefits programs, and training sessions.
- Utilize Canva and other design programs to infuse creativity and engagement into HR materials, ensuring they resonate with our audience and drive participation.
- Coordinate HR events and meetings, including logistics and catering arrangements.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provide coverage in HR Operations and Talent Acquisition/Workforce Development as needed.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative roles preferred.
- Familiarity with Payroll and Leave administration preferred.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to established deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong customer-centric approach with proficiency in written and verbal communication across all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Canva, and ADP. Possesses a strong aptitude for adapting to and quickly learning new software and processes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing their essential functions, employees are occasionally exposed to the following conditions:
