pursue innovative and inclusive coverage strategies while maintaining AP’s standards for integrity and objectivity.
be able and willing to work any shift – including at night and on weekends – as coverage demands, as AP is a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications:
You should have advanced individual technical skills in creating video content, as well as the ability to work within an all-formats team to apply those skills from start to finish on breaking news and short- and long-term projects. Applicants should be creative, innovative and agile and work effectively in a deadline-driven newsroom. You should have at least three years of full-time news experience as a video journalist at a daily newspaper, broadcast station, online or digital news outlet, or an AP bureau or regional desk.

We will consider strong candidates who do not meet every listed qualification. You may use a cover letter to describe the unique qualifications you would bring to this role.
