The Assembly Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Assembly Operations. Position will have direct supervision of 4-5 Area Crew Chiefs within a defined scope that could be defined by Customer, type of Assemblies being produced or a combination of both. This is an Salary position. This is a position that at times will require the candidate to work alongside his Crew Chiefs and Team Members to troubleshoot, cross train, implement or evaluate processes or at times when schedule or customer requests warrant such activity. Ideal Candidate should expect to spend approximately 2/3 of their time directly involved with the teams they oversee. The ideal Candidate should be the current standard bearer in regards to Attendance, Quality of Work, and Performance to Standard, Problem Solving, Communications Skills and ability to Coach.
Preferred Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five or more years’ experience in an entry level Assembly Supervision role. 10 years assembly experience in total.
