JOB DESCRIPTION:
Maintenance personal must be able to repair or replace defective equipment using hand tools and power tools. The job requires preventive maintenance to ensure that the facility and equipment within is running efficiently and smoothly and safely. This job requires performing physical activities on a daily basis; such as climbing, lifting, and walking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of error.
- Servicing, repairing and testing machines, devices that operate in the facility.
- Observing and receiving information about the facility and solving the problem.
- Communicate issues to supervisors, management, and co-workers as it relates to various departments.
JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Previous maintenance experience, technical certificate or degree a plus.
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools.
- Performing general physical activities.
- Job requires analyzing information and using logic to address work related issues.
- Willing to learn new tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Safety glasses at all times
- Hearing protection where required
- Covered shoes at all times
- Working with sharp tools daily
- Handling material daily
