What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Inspector position at The Atlas Group?
Brenner Aerostructures is currently seeking a skilled Quality Inspector our busy production facility. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Quality Inspecting experience and Mechanical Inspection experience along with excellent communication skills. He/she will also have great attention to detail and an ability to multitask as required. Quality, problem solving, operation monitoring, critical thinking, operation and control, active listening, reading comprehension, troubleshooting & equipment maintenance as needed. Inspects products (incoming receiving, in-process, final) for aerospace customers to ensure compliance with contract and engineering drawings/specifications: reviews company's quality records and results of quality tests: support company's quality control system for compliance. Manufacturing environment required.
Work Experience Requirements:
- 4 yrs or more experience in Quality Inspecting and/or Mechanic Inspecting REQUIRED
- CMN Inspection capabilities
- Preferred aerospace inspection
- Basic Math, Filing, Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Ability to Read Blue Prints and Interpret Customer Specifications along with Mylars & 3D Models
- Knowledge of Basic Precision Measurement Equipment (Hand Held)
- Ability to Read and Write English
- Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
- FAI (prefer AS9102), Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspections
- Knowledgeable with Metal Bonding & Composites (desirable)
- Mechanical Testing using basic tensile equipment
- Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP Procedures.
- Experience conducting and participating in internal and 3rd party audits
- Manufacturing environment REQUIRED / Aerospace experience PREFERRED
Salary : $49,600 - $62,800
