About this job:

As the Business Performance Reporting Analyst you will play a pivotal role in building a comprehensive reporting and analytics infrastructure that empowers data driven decision making across the organization improving both the employee and customer experience. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of the reporting and analytical business intelligence solutions. In support of these responsibilities, the Business Performance Reporting Analyst will conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for impactful reporting solutions. Additionally, this role will ensure the ongoing accuracy, efficiency, and relevance of existing reports and dashboards and will proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement to meet evolving business needs.

As a Business Performance Reporting Analyst you will:

• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights
• Partners with stakeholders to develop and align on reporting requirements
• Analyzes and collects data for various types of business reports and analytics
• Investigates data anomalies and implements corrective actions for report errors
• Addresses complaint issues for reports and data systems and helps identify solutions
• Identifies areas for improvement and understands when to appropriately escalate
• Educates others across the organization on reporting and analytical concepts and best practices
• Creates a positive working environment that enables both the Customer and Employee Experience
• Possesses a natural curiosity and investigative mindset, actively seeks out new information
• Champions the adoption and continued evolution of Snowflake and other emerging technologies
• Participates in the build and delivery of the banks Data and Analytics Roadmap
• Takes initiative while remaining receptive to feedback
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time well

Qualifications for Success:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, information management or a related field
• 3-5 years experience as a reporting analyst showcasing problem-solving and analytical skills
• Solid foundation in SQL and Excel, with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply BI platforms like Cognos, Power BI and/or Tableau
• Excellent communications skills and presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Possesses a keen eye for detail, ensuring reports are visually clear, concise, and easy to interpret for diverse audiences
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools, experience with Snowflake is a plus
• Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights
• Banking experience is a huge plus, familiarity with banking regulations and financial metrics will accelerate onboarding and ensure reports align with industry standards
