Bartender

The position of a Bartender at our sports bar is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing a fun and enjoyable experience for our customers. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a lively and engaging atmosphere while serving a variety of drinks and snacks. We are looking for a team player who is able to multi-task and communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. Come join our dynamic team and be a part of our fast-paced sports bar environment.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cashregister.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet our guests. Engage them and make them feel comfortable. Let them know that you are there to take care of them.
• Inform guest of specials and menu changes and answer questions about our food, beverages and restaurant services.
• Expert knowledge of the menu and the ability to make suggestions you honestly feel they will enjoy.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes.
• Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests.
• Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
• Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make changes (if applicable).
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
• Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas. Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.

Pay: $16.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
