Founded in 2017, The Bio Dude strives to go beyond basic care by utilizing research-based techniques to promote bioactive habitats. We have been featured on Animal Planet and work with many AZA-accredited facilities in Texas. We have a complete service website (www.thebiodude.com), brick and mortar store, and distribution around the contiguous 48 to many retail stores and platforms. This business was started of dust and created from love, determination, grief, and tenacity.

Position: Order Fulfillment Specialist

Hours: A full-time associate will work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, alternating Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Associates are to take a 30-minute break, during which time they are not to perform any work duties. Hours per week: 40. Hours are subject to change per management—no overtime without management approval.

Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Order Fulfillment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and processing customer orders promptly. Your attention to detail and efficiency will improve our overall customer satisfaction and ensure smooth order fulfillment operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be a team player, stay organized, communicate effectively, ask questions, and be open to learning and collaborating with your team.
• Must follow The Bio Dude Inc. dress code policy. Attire should be clean, neat, and professional. Hygiene should be clean and orderly.
• Follow all safety standards and maintain an effective, efficient, safe work environment.
• Practice warehouse safety and effective communication with fellow associates.
• Follow The Bio Dude Inc. employee handbook policies, standards, and ethics.
• Help management maintain spreadsheets that record losses, mistakes, inventory, and other day-to-day aspects of the business.
• Follow all OSHA safety guidelines.

Order Picking

• Utilize packing slips to locate and pick products from the warehouse accurately.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while picking orders and double-check for any discrepancies.

Order Packing

• Safely and securely pack items following established packaging guidelines and standards.
• Choose appropriate packaging materials, such as boxes, and bubble wrap, to protect the product in transit.
• Verify the accuracy of product labels and ensure proper labeling on each package.
• Apply shipping labels and affix any necessary documentation or invoices.

Order Processing

• Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and special instructions before processing.
• Coordinate with customer care to resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies.

Quality Control and Inventory Management

• Report any damaged, expired, or low-stock items to the Inventory Specialist.

Shipping and Documentation

• Prepare packages for shipping by weighing and measuring them accurately.
• Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shelving units and packing stations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your peers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
