Position Overview:
The Bliss Group has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Digital Media Specialist (Account Director).
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the digital media needs of our Healthcare clients and will develop campaigns targeting patients and/or caregivers. (Bonus: experience with campaigns targeting physicians as a referral source).
You will help Bliss clients and account teams identify and execute the right strategies to achieve their objectives – focused on Paid Media (ie, Paid Search, Re-Targeting and Display) and Paid Social (ie, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). From there, you will enhance the Website User Experience (UX) to increase Return-on-Ad-Spend (streamline ad to post-click landing page experience), and provide best practice recommendations to improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
The right candidate is a creative and analytical thinker, who loves digging into data, following digital media industry trends, creatively bringing a campaign to life, and has experience managing a team of junior and mid-level professionals.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Overall:
- Create plan and strategy for digital media campaigns across Paid Media (primarily focused on Paid Search and Paid Social ad campaigns)
- Strong ability to connect the ad to post-click landing page experience to optimize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) through UX and SEO best practices
- Share healthcare digital media best practices with team (helping with Learning & Development)
- Paid Media:
- Experienced in optimizing Paid Search and Paid Social accounts, launching new campaigns, and identifying targeted audiences
- Understands each platform’s nuances and best practices across Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and more.
- Understands how Paid and Organic Search play well together
- Website User Experience
- Expertise in re-imagining the look and feel of a company’s website (creative, technical, and UX), as well as connecting the ad to post-click landing page experience
- Website Re-Design: Ability to provide recommendations around enhancing creative (including photography and video assets), user experience/UX (optimum layout of website landing pages via wireframes), and can provide direction to designers/UX partners (preferred, but not required)
- Website Re-Platform: Experienced working with various platforms (WordPress, Amazon Web Services), comfortable with identifying platform requirements, and can provide functionality recommendations for a seamless user experience to developers, UX experts, and design partners (preferred, but not required)
- Organic Search (Search Engine Optimization, or SEO):
- Able to audit, provide best practice recommendations and implement SEO recommendations (ie, meta-tags like Page Titles & Page Descriptions, keywords, etc)
- Comfortable using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools
- Analytics:
- Monitor and report on performance, identify benchmarks, and evaluate relevant KPIs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-8 years of digital media/performance marketing experience – specifically, Paid Media, SEO, Website UX/user experience, Analytics, and strong Project Management experience required.
- Confident leader who is experienced managing a small digital media team
- Role would report to Vice President, Head of Digital Media
- Experience in Healthcare industry is required (developing patient/caregiver campaigns)
- Proficiency in Google’s ad manager, Google Analytics, or other analytics web and paid ad platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continually shifting priorities
- Experience in Social Media, SEO/Organic Search and Email Marketing is a nice-to-have, but not required
Work Location: This position will be based in our NYC, NJ, or Austin office working a hybrid schedule or can be remote if not close to our offices.
Salary Range: 100K-135K annually
**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary bonus and Profit-Sharing Plan, (for VP roles), may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered
