What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation C.N.A position at The Blossoms?
We are currently seeking a skilled C.N.A. to accompany our residents on their appointments.
Major Job Duties (this position includes but is not limited to the following)
- Escort residents from assigned rooms to and from vehicles and appointments in a smooth and efficient manner.
- Report any incidents, accidents, changes in resident’s condition, requests, problems, and complaints to their supervisor.
- Any other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid unencumbered C.N.A license in the State of Connecticut.
- Prior experience transporting residents for a hospital or nursing home is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Proof of COVID Vaccination is required to be eligible for this position.

Salary : $27,500 - $34,900
