BLS, a leader in the ground transportation industry across the USA is hiring two Administrative Assistants to work at our Headquarters in Hicksville, NY 11801.

Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay Rate:
$15.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities include:

  • Answers phones and general inquires.
  • Maintain calendars and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Generate and or pull reports from various systems.
  • Create and maintain various Excel spreadsheets.
  • Office filing, maintain and update personnel files.
  • Write various types of communications including emails, letters and memos.
  • Serve as a back-up to payroll. Answer general payroll inquires. Process payroll when payroll manager is out.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Candidates should possess the following skills, experience and abilities:

  • Must possess extensive experience using Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be as comfortable interacting with the executives as you are with non-executives.
  • Must be able to build rapport with employees, clients and vendors.
  • Must be a problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
  • Must be organized, detailed-oriented and possess a professional demeanor.
