What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at The Boil?
We are looking for a Busser to join our team and support our wait staff and set up our dining areas. Busser's responsibilities include cleaning tables and floors, routine bathroom checkup/cleaning, refilling water, and setting up tables for dine-in guests. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
- Sanitize dining area and bathrooms.
- Place tableware and condiments on tables.
- Serve water, plates, forks, and napkins on tables upon guests arrival.
- Refilling water and napkins as needed.
- Pre-bus - remove any dirty utensils, glassware and apps trays, as needed.
- Provide special silverware, bibs, gloves to all guest.
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
- Follow routine bathroom cleanup for guests.
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all times.
- MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS.
Skills
- Work experience as a Busser or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
