Key Responsibilities: As a Family Preservation Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assistance, guidance, and support to families with open Informal Adjustment or In-Home CHINS cases.
  • Advocating for families to ensure they receive the appropriate resources and services.
  • Teaching and demonstrating new, essential skills to parents and caregivers.
  • Monitoring family progress and making necessary adjustments to the intervention plan.
  • Acting as a role model to inspire positive change within the family unit.

  • Teaching and Modeling: Ability to teach, demonstrate, and model appropriate skills and behaviors for parents and caregivers.
  • Monitoring and Assessment: Competency in tracking family progress and making data-driven adjustments to intervention plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team of clinicians and professionals.
  • Cultural Competency: Sensitivity and awareness of diverse family dynamics and cultural backgrounds.
  • Documentation: Accurate and timely record-keeping and report-writing skills.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Certificate or Professional License: N/A
  • Experience: Prefer 2 years experience working with families
  • Valid driver’s license and active liability insurance.
  • Satisfactory results from criminal background check.
  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
