Project Manager-Virtual

This position is contingent upon award of a government contract

This is a full-time position located virtually in select states.*

CORE FUNCTIONS
Manages daily program operations including ensuring staffing needs are met, managing personnel, tracking contract execution, profit and loss, and providing overall contract and relationship management with the client.

Skills in:

• Managing corporate contractual administrative duties in accordance with federal guidelines, including personnel recruitment and actions, timekeeping and task management, projection and execution and quality control.
• Making recommendations for process improvements and overseeing projects.
• Ensuring all requested deliverables are within contract scope.
• Providing customer services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinating business activities and concerns between the customers and employees.
• Ensuring appropriate staffing for all contract requirements and appropriate training for all contract team members.
• Directly supervising program activities.
• Overseeing the performance status of the overall team and individual team members' level of proficiency. Offering guidance and tracking the progress of the professional development of each team member.
• Ensuring that projects' and customer's goals are met; meeting regularly with the client to discuss the status of the program.
• Reviewing project deliverables for quality and timeliness, ensuring products meet all requirements in terms of content, quality and schedule.
• Preparing all reports as required by the contract.

Ability to:

• Work as a strategic member of a corporate management team with proven ability to achieve individual, team, and corporate goals.
• Perform personnel recruitment and actions, timekeeping and task management, projection and execution, quality control, and reports.
• Coach employees, deliver feedback, set goals, and provide performance evaluations.
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business information, technical procedures, and operational statistics.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, employees and corporate staff.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide actionable solutions.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

Project Management
Plan, direct or coordinate the operations of the contract. Enforce policies, manage daily operations and oversee contract execution and program operations..

Customer Management
Provide customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Coordinate business activities and concerns between the customers and employees.

Quality Assurance Regulation
Directly supervise and coordinate program activities. Oversee the performance status of the overall team and individual team members' level of proficiency. Offer guidance and track the progress of the professional development of each team member.

Education and Work Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a communication or business-related discipline; education or training in strategic planning preferred.
• Work Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated professional experience, with at least five (5) years experience at the strategic/management level, achieved within the past ten (10) years.

Industry Knowledge:

• Military and veteran quality of life programs.
• Federal contracting environment preferred.
• Principles of excellent leadership and peer management skills.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently
