Leasing Consultant

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Consultant. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the property management industry and provide exceptional service to our residents. Duties: - Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants - Respond to inquiries and provide information about rental properties, amenities, and lease terms - Assist with the application process, including collecting necessary documentation and conducting background checks - Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately - Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages - Address tenant concerns and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner - Maintain accurate records of rental payments, vacancies, and leasing activity - Collaborate with the property management team to develop marketing strategies to attract new tenants - Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and regulations Experience: - Previous experience in property management or leasing is preferred - Familiarity with file management and administrative tasks - Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to leasing agreements - Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi or CMMS - Understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs is a plus - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills At our company, we offer competitive compensation, ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
