The Brand Amp, a leading PR and Marketing agency, is seeking a creative and skilled Social-First Content Creator to join our team in our Costa Mesa office. We are looking for someone with a passion for the automotive, outdoors, food and bev, and lifestyle industries who also possesses strong producer and editing skills.
Job Description/Duties:
- Conceptualize, create, and produce social-first content for a variety of platforms but a focus on short form TikTok and Reels content
- Collaborate with the creative digital team to develop innovative content ideas that align with client goals and brand voice.
- Execute all aspects of content creation, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Manage and maintain brand consistency across all content produced.
- Work closely with the Social Media Community Managers to ensure content meets client expectations and deadlines.
- Provide input and ideas for creative campaigns and strategies.
- Create and maintain an "always on" social media presence, staying up-to-date with current trends and topics.
- Develop and execute content strategies for TikTok, including trend-jacking and original content creation to drive engagement and reach a wider audience.
- Produce skit-based content that is entertaining, informative, and aligns with the brand's tone and messaging.
- Quickly react to current events, pop culture moments, and social media trends to create timely and relevant content.
- Utilize analytics and insights to optimize content performance and drive engagement.
- Stay informed about TikTok Reels algorithm changes and best practices to maximize content visibility and reach.
- Work closely with influencers and talent to create collaborative content UGC that resonates with the target audience.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms, ensuring content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in content creation, with a focus on social media.
- Strong producer and editing skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects).
- Knowledge of current social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for automotive, off-road vehicles, hunting, fishing, or overlanding preferred.
