What are the responsibilities and job description for the Editorial Brand Manager position at The Brand Guild?
The Brand Guild is an integrated team of experts across Public Relations, Marketing, Events and Creative that builds strategies, creates experiences and influences audiences to win for our clients. We are looking for a curious, sharp, entrepreneurial person to join our team in the position of Editorial Brand Manager. This is an internal communications role on our Content Team that will work closely with our Creative and Strategy teams to tell The Brand Guild story through a variety of media including social media, website, newsletter, and thought leadership.
Note: Initially this position will be remote, but can be based in our DC or NYC Office once our team returns to a flexible hybrid schedule.

- Constantly staying up to date on the latest marketing and social media trends/features

You will:
- Lead efforts of an internal account team for planning and executing social media, website and newsletter content
- Create evergreen and seasonal campaigns as well as timely content for The Brand Guild’s social media channels
- Create and maintain editorial content calendars for The Brand Guild, encompassing major themes, industry trends, cultural events and holidays and thought leadership opportunities
- Establish content strategies (organic and paid) to realize key goals for The Brand Guild’s channels, from reaching prospective clients and driving website traffic to growing accounts and building engagement
- Research, develop strategies for and execute content creation around new platform features and trends
- Assist the Cofounders on their personal social media accounts, as needed
- Measure and report on content performance and engagement, tracking weekly and monthly analytics to make informed results-based recommendations
Qualifications:
- 4 years of communications experience in integrated marketing, content strategy, copywriting or social media management (agency experience a plus, experience working with consumer lifestyle, food and beverage and real estate brands a plus )
- Ability to consensus build around stakeholder feedback and a proven aptitude
- Strong ability to adapt and execute tone and voice guidelines
- Expert brainstorming skills, and the capacity to conceptualize campaigns from start to finish
- The ability to translate campaigns and content to multiple platforms
- The ability to synthesize messaging takeaways efficiently and eloquently
- Stellar project management skills
