Childcare Attendant | 8am-12pm | Mon-Fri

The Bridgewater Childcare Attendant supervises the children in the childcare rooms while providing a safe, clean, organized and fun environment for the children to learn and play.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure children are supervised at all times.

· Oversee the safety and health of each child.

· Provide various experiences and activities for children including art, games, imaginative play and more.

· Execute appropriate measures of discipline when required per club's policies.

· Interact with children and parents in a professional and courteous manner.

· Maintain a clean, organized and safe childcare room(s) in accordance with the daily checklists.

· Abide by and enforce club policies and procedures.

· Participate/assist with decorating and/or working in special club events and children’s birthday parties.

· Substitute for and/or trade shifts with coworkers when necessary.

· Assist children with diaper changes and other restroom essentials.

· Manage food orders, snacks, beverages, baby formula and all other food and drink-related items that are intended for the children.

Experience

• At least 2 years (preferred).

Physical Demands

• Capable of lifting children 3 months – 3 years of age.
• Continual Standing/Walking Required up to 8/hrs.
• Frequent Contact with Various Cleaning Products.
