The Director of Outpatient Services is a valued member of the senior leadership team. This position will oversee outpatient staff and operations, as well as assist with staff training and evaluations. The Director of Outpatient Services will be responsible in identifying growth opportunities for the outpatient program while maintaining all state and federal standards associated with outpatient therapeutic programming.

Qualifications:
Licenses or Certifications:
  • Current license in counseling or social work.

Total education, vocational training and experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of adult populations.
  • Timely, thorough and accurate interpretation of patient related information as related to functional performance.
  • Thorough understanding of and willingness to work within established practice standards and licensing limitations.
  • Clear, concise and timely documentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and assign tasks and hold staff responsible for their completion.
  • Ability to make independent and responsible decisions.
  • Must have ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to communicate with patients, families, referral sources, community agencies, and staff.
  • Knowledge of telephone etiquette is required.Must be able to interact with patients, physicians, families and hospital personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
