Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position provides the highest level of service for all our guests at the Bell Stand and other front office related areas (Concierge and Front Desk). While working efficiently and effectively this position displays above and beyond care for all associates and guests that they may come in contact with, while maintaining a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities for this position include the following; While this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the current job, Management reserves the right to revise the job or to require that other or different functions to be performed when circumstances change or exigencies require (this includes but is not limited to emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, rush jobs or technology developments)
· General knowledge of SMS lodging system/Opera Cloud System.
· Advanced knowledge of The Villages and surrounding areas.
· Ability to operate a bell cart and assist with luggage and packages.
· Ability to lift large parcels and deliver to guest rooms.
· Ability to build guest relationships.
· Ability to recommend and identify opportunities for guests.
· Resolve guest concerns at first contact.
· Attend departmental meetings.
· Follow The Brownwood Hotel & Spa and The Villages handbook policies and standard operating procedures.
· Provide Above and beyond guest service, always looking for ways to assists guests.
· Maintain the quality and level of service that the Company and Guests expect is excellent according to company and guest standards and policies.
· Must be or become certified in Human Trafficking awareness.
· Complete all daily responsibilities/cleaning task list.
· Knowledge of all guest room amenities.
· Reporting any unusual behavior or issues to management.
· Daily responsibilities:
· Exceptional knowledge of hotel outlets.
· Be in complete uniform for all shifts.
· Greeting guests outside and when entering the lobby.
· Assisting guests with requests.
· Moving at a brisk pace to deliver/retrieve luggage.
· Assist the Front Desk with phone calls as necessary.
· Delivering guest amenities.
· Guest Laundry pickup and return.
· Ensure main entrance to hotel is clean and free of debris.
· Shinning bell carts with appropriate tools provided.
· Working with integrity.
· Following a checklist and all procedures.
· Handling confidential guest information.
· Follow our hotel green policies.
· Ensure trash/recyclables are taken out from the Front Desk and Bell Closet areas.
· Follow The Brownwood Hotel & Spa guest service standards.
· Actively work with department staff, while following all departmental rules.
· Any other additional responsibilities that may be asked by Management.
Educational/Experience Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Hospitality knowledge in both hotel operations and Food and Beverage preferred.
· Related experience is preferred.
· Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
· Must be able to move at brisk paces for 8 hours.

Language Skills
