What are the responsibilities and job description for the Work Order Dispatcher position at The Building People?
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Work Order Dispatcher. The Work Order Dispatcher is responsible to ensure work orders are taken and recorded in a timely manner. The Work Order Dispatcher:
- Receives, records in GSA Maximo system, and distributes work orders and preventive maintenance tickets to service crews upon customers' requests for service records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered
- Prepares work order and distributes to service crew, schedules service calls and dispatches service crew.
- Calls or writes the customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service, keeps record of service calls and work orders, may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment.
- Courteously answers all incoming service calls and dispatches accordingly. Coordinates with proper staff to make sure ticket is closed appropriately
- All other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Computer experience, Microsoft Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Email.
- Customer friendly and able to speak clearly and answer the phone/radio, communication devices.
- Preferred experience in Facility Management.
- Maximo experience preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust
Required Education
- High School Diploma of GED Equivalent
