Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our employees, assisting with daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answer the telephone and take messages in a professional and timely manner.
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients when entering the gallery.
Fill out customer cards with customer information and project scope for sales team.
Assist in maintaining filing systems as assigned.
Accept and process repairs brought into the gallery, as well as call clients to pick up repaired items in a timely matter.
Provide product and service information and serve as a liaison to staff.
Write “Follow-Up Notes” to customers visiting the store and assist in writing “Thank You” notes to purchasing customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate or equivalent - associate degree preferred.
Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
