• The Castle Fun Center is in search of a Bartender with some experience but will train the right individual. Have an appetite for learning & a high level of awareness, a fun personality to join us in creating a team based, confident, gracious & personable experience for both our teams and our guests.

Bartender Job Requirements

• 2 years of restaurant bartending experience, and knowledge of craft beers
• Personable, upbeat and cool under pressure
• Ability to improvise and make impromptu decisions in accordance to the Castle Fun Center standards
• Prioritization skills and strong verbal communication skills
• Open availability
• Able to effectively communicate in English
• Works well in a team

Bartender Job Duties

• Perform all tasks required to open the bar for service, including organizing spirits, garnishes, syrups, bitters and service ice.
• Possess in-depth knowledge about all the beverage ingredients available behind the bar
• Offer cocktails based on available bar ingredients and execute cocktail orders in a timely manner
• Stock and maintain wines and spirits behind the bar at proper temperatures
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station with adequately stocked bar cocktail materials at all times
• Identify low beverage items and alert Food & Beverage manager in a timely manner to maintain adequate bar inventory
• Perform all other aspects of service when necessary including running food, clearing tables, restocking service items, maintaining service areas, polishing and cleaning
• Provide attentive and courteous service, receive guest requests (and act on specific guest requests when appropriate), and report all relevant feedback to other team members and supervisors

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
• Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
• Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
• Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
• Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
• Other duties as requested
