The Center for Discovery is seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to join our team as the Director of Transportation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of our transportation operations, ensuring compliance with Article 19A (motor carrier) regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-employment and annual driver license abstracts, coordinating and documenting pre-employment and biennial medical examinations, as well as conducting defensive driving observations, road tests, and oral/written tests. The Director of Transportation will also manage record-keeping for required certifications, partner with safety initiatives to maintain physicals for drivers, coordinate quarterly random drug and alcohol testing, handle DMV compliance requirements, process petty cash reimbursements for drivers' out-of-pocket expenses, and oversee payroll functions, including approving time-off requests and managing bi-weekly payroll submissions through UKG. Additionally, the role involves providing necessary driver training as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
