Job Summary :
As the Maintenance Technician, Building Services, you are expected to conduct regular building tours and inspections, identifying needs and executing corrective action and / or coordinating with management and outside contractors.
You will prioritize daily maintenance duties and a variety of general services, including, but not limited to setting up or breaking down of equipment, grounds maintenance, moving furniture, general errands, and basic electrical, plumbing, heating / ventilation, roofing and painting.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
2 years of general building maintenance experience in corporate headquarters environment with strong conversational and interpersonal skills and dressed per outlined standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
General electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills
Mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment and systems
Working knowledge of Building Automation Systems
Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of general workplace safety procedures
Ability to assemble furniture with hand or power tools
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license; ability to work weekend and off-shift hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications :
Security, forklift, shipping, and receiving
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the management regarding card access, video surveillance, mechanical equipment, and fire protection systems maintenance and operation
Manage minor capital plan projects
Assist with mailroom, dock, and receiving processes
Requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and / or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
