This role is in the CPSG Sales Group function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Interface directly with customers to sell Access Control solutions (ii) Work with Access Control Manager to develop target customer list in appropriate geographies and customer segments. (iii) Make sales presentations, lead group trainings, conduct site visits and job walks to provide access control expertise to customers. (iv) Track prospects in a sales pipeline and drive to closure (v) Work with CPSG Sales team and local branches to address local needs for support and dealer training for access control products. Requires 0-2 years of Sales experience and Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Sales Representative - Access Controls & Perimeter Security Job Duties:

  • Interface directly with customers to sell Access Control solutions
  • Responsible for obtaining sales and growth goals in assigned area
  • Plan, execute, and track activities with prospective and current customers to drive sales
  • Create and conduct professional presentations to existing and potential customers (large and small groups) to demonstrate a complete solution selling proposition for Access Control
  • Conduct in-depth training presentations on complete Access Control solutions for CPSG customers in both large and small groups
  • Provide white-glove services to customers including pre- and post-sale consultative services, technical support, and configuration services
  • Become proficient in presenting to and working with local and national property management companies
  • Support the development of proposals and sell Cap Concierge service(s) and programs to property management companies for post-install support of CAPXLV and other access products
  • Conduct site walks to assist and develop comprehensive project bids
  • Proactively seek out dealers in Security, CCTV, Low-Voltage and Product Integrator markets to expand Sales and opportunities for CPSG Access Control products.
  • Become an expert in Connectivity and all Wi-Fi, RFID, cellular, radio controls, CAPXLV, CAP 2-D and other access products, and how to properly use them
  • Coordinate projects in partnership with key dealers and integrators leveraging CPSG connectivity and access control products
  • Track and record activity on accounts in the CRM
  • Submit a monthly highlight report to include current and pending sales activity
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect CPSG's reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Sales Representative - Access Controls & Perimeter Security Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of Sales experience
  • Strong analytical skills; excellent influential and oral communication skills; proficient computer skills
  • Able to travel up to 70% - domestically, valid driver's license
  • Preferred Qualifications: Customer relationship experience; access controls or related industry sales experience Working knowledge of access controls products; proficient in sales systems; mechanical aptitude

The pay range for this position is ($62,750 to $102,575); base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
