A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOCUS AREA MANAGER

As a Focus Area Manager, you will provide support and assistance to the ongoing efforts of Community Supports in the delivery of Day Services. This position will be primarily responsible for day services provided onsite and/ or in the community and /or private sectors. The Area Manager would collaborate with Community Supports Leadership personnel to support day services innovations in facilities and/or in the community. Facilitate training opportunities with DSP's to improve service provision and quality of services. Communicate with Family/Caregivers/Guardians consistently to promote customer service and awareness of changes/concerns/accomplishments of Persons Supported.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 18 years of age
• Be able to pass a background check
• Valid driver's license
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5-7 years' experience in Human Services with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement plans with good written and oral skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and supportive working environment for staff and Person Centered
• Ability to effectively communicate with Persons Supported, direct reports, supervisory personnel and team members, and other stakeholders
