What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Handler position at The Chase Dog Club?
The Chase Dog Club is an upscale dog daycare, hotel and spa located in Oak Grove, MN. We pride ourselves in providing unconditional fun, safety and comfort to the dogs while maintaining world-class convenience to their owners.
We are currently looking for a positive, reliable, hard working and self-motivated dog lover to join our team as a Dog Handler on a full-time or part-time basis.
The Dog Handler thrives off a fast-paced environment that can be loud at times, is proactive and self-motivated, handles stress with ease, and has a strong attention to detail. This position is responsible for supervising, managing, and interacting with a group of off-leash dogs that vary in breeds and sizes. This position also cleans up after dogs and keeps the facility clean and sanitized.
The Dog Handler must be willing to work weekends and holidays and must have reliable transportation. No experience required.
Shifts available between 6am and 8:30pm. Currently seeking candidates available for all shifts with flexibility in scheduling. MUST be flexible. Must be open to work any day of the week & Holidays. We have set schedules once trained in.

Responsibilities:
Supervise, manage, and interact with dogs of all breeds and sizes.
Provide excellent oversight of dogs during play time.
Follow health and sanitation guidelines at all times and assist other team members in keeping the facility clean and sanitary.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service to clients entering the facility.
Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
Handle payments, as needed.
Utilize ProPet Software for reservations, scheduling, uploading vaccinations, and other dog boarding and daycare functions.
Hydrate and feed dogs throughout the day.
Distribute medications to dogs pursuant to prescription and owner instructions, as required.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow all Company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Bending, reaching, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
Standing for 4 to 8 hours, and the ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Seeking full and part time Dog Handler positions. Pay based on experience.
Candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
