Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes
- Decorate pastries and cakes using various techniques such as piping, icing, and garnishing
- Ensure all baked goods are of high quality and meet our standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a pastry or bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, including cake decorating and dessert preparation
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of baked goods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
