Position Summary: The Cost and Rebate Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining all rebate agreements from the time they are established through final settlement. Seeks ways to re-engineer and strives for continuous process improvement to increase the accuracy, reduce discrepancies, and bring visibility to financial aspects of customer rebates, vendor rebates and deviation programs. This role will cultivate, develop, and maintain productive and valuable working relationships with partners in Category Management, Sales, Marketing, IT support and other key corporate stakeholders.
What you’lldo:
- Support the implementation and effectiveness of all back-end rebate and deviation programs.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the rebate filings, claims, and invoicing along with vendor account reconciliations and collections.
- Provide necessary documentation of calculations required for accurate journal entries and accruals.
- Maintains vendor rebate revenue reporting to ensure all rebate opportunities are recognized, maximized, claimed, and maintained, while remaining compliant with all vendor and internal finance requirements
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing venders, and act as a liaison with category managers and vendors
- Provide FSQA support to internal projects (e.g. new items, new equipment installation, etc.)
