Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time FDP Certification Specialist to join our FDP Site Unit 2 team located at the Ada Nutrition Services.
Summary:
Responsibilities:
Receives and interviews applicants to determine eligibility according to Program guidelines and regulations
Communicates with designated agencies (e.g. Federal, state, county, etc.)
Provides information to clients (e.g. eligibility, application procedure, certification, prevention of dual participation, store shopping procedures)
Updates client records to meet the requirements of FNS 501 Regulations
Maintains daily client POS vouchers and other records applicable to FNS criteria and standards
Performs general clerical/administrative support to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing documents, filing, receive, distribution of departmental and company e-mails, prepare and distribute mail, composition and preparation of routine correspondence, drafts narratives, financial, and statistical reports and presentations using computer software applications based on the needs of the department and/or facility
Makes appointment reminder calls
All other duties as assigned
Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
