Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool students
- Create engaging lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning community
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Implement early intervention strategies for students with special needs
- Foster the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR Child Development Associates Degree.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children
