The Children's Clinic is actively seeking a Certified Medical Assistant OR Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team at our Portland, Oregon location.

The Certified Medical Assistant/ LPN provides clinical & administrative support to clinicians & other healthcare team members, offering various healthcare services to patients. As appropriate to the position's scope of authorized duties, the CMA/ LPN is required to have competent observational, clinical, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving & decision-making skills to meet patient needs & contribute to a positive care experience & work environment. The position works under the clinical supervision of the clinician for patient care activities, & the general direction of the designated manager/supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Oregon state license.
  • One (1) year experience as a LPN. Three (3) years experience as a LPN preferred.
  • Preferred experience in Pediatrics but not required.
  • BLS/CPR.
  • COVID-19 vaccinated.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant. Three (3) year experience as a CMA preferred.
  • Preferred experience in Pediatrics but not required.
  • Certified as CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA or eligible for certification.
  • Medical Assistants may apply but must obtain their certification within six (6) months from their date of hire.
  • CPR/BLS.
  • COVID-19 vaccinated.
