Job Summary:
The Children’s Home of Easton is hiring for Office Manager, Development Department. This is full-time position, with benefits. This position works closely with the Director of Development and the Director of Marketing and Communications. This position reports directly to the Director of Development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Development
- Event planning
- Maintaining development calendar
- Accounts receivable. Responsible for collecting and recording incoming donations and sponsorships. Liaison between the Finance Department and the Development Department
- Maintaining all documents related to events and donations
- Creating invoices for events
- Maintaining donor database and gift processing
- Writing ‘thank you’ letters to all donors and sponsors
- Light grant writing responsibilities
- Representing the department in a professional manner
- Limited amount of nights and weekends required (events)
Job Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of office management experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
- Highly detail-oriented person with superior organizational skills
- Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor database program, Donor Perfect; ability to learn new programs/software/internal systems quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work well and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible.
- Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
- High School or GED
- Valid Driver’s License/Record Check
- Over 21 Years Old
- All applicants are required to pass a physical examination by a licensed professional.
- Must pass State trainings including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Medical Administration provided by The Children’s Home of Easton.
