What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Specialist position at The Chiro Place?
Our multi-location family chiropractic center is in immediate need of an experienced Account Specialist who is familiar with insurance companies. We file insurance claims on behalf of our patients. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and naturally helpful, willing to work on a problem to its successful conclusion.
- Submit reimbursement requests to all insurance.
- Process insurance claims for private and employer insurance reimbursement
- Review CPT codes for proper batching of claims
- Process and follow up on payer denials
- Post Patient Payment in Integrated Practice Solutions Billing Software
- Denial Management followed up with the initiation of private pay collections
- Research and resolve client billing problems or issues
- Oversee all patient accounts and balances
- Performing Insurance Verification
