We are looking for a seasoned Experience Design Discovery Lead with a passion for revolutionizing highly complex, regulated industries. As a strategic leader, you will work with cross-functional partners to define our experience strategy within the behavioral domain and across associated care domains while evangelizing a human-centered problem solving mindsets/methods. You will be responsible for establishing and sharing a strategic definition of experience design, illustrating how these strategies can be used to deliver value to both the business, our end users and our clients. You will partner with Delivery Leads to sequence Discovery and Delivery roadmaps, ensuring a perpetual cycle of insight-driven value.
Responsibilities
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 117,000 - 195,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.

Responsibilities
- Lead the definition of a scalable experience design strategy for behavioral care including in-person and virtual care delivery, medication management, and integration with critical healthcare capabilities
- Develop and execute a Discovery-Delivery roadmap (in partnership with Delivery Lead) that dramatically enhances the experience for patients and providers, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and user needs
- Champion a human-centered design approach, utilizing rigorous research and user insights to inform strategy development and iteration
- Elevate the cross-functional team’s experience design maturity by mentoring designers, promoting best practices, and instilling a culture of agility, curiosity and human-centeredness
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, marketing, and clinical teams to ensure cohesive and impactful product experiences
- Foster an environment that encourages creativity, calculated risk-taking, and continuous learning
- Translate complex medical and behavioral concepts into intuitive and easily understand frameworks, artifacts and user experiences
- 7 years' of experience in experience design and strategy, ideally within healthcare or similarly regulated industries
- A degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field is highly desirable
- Extensive experience in human-centered design methodology, with a track record of leading teams to define insightful strategy and deliver market-ready products
- A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design work with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in modern design tools and technologies, with an aptitude for understanding and adopting emerging trends in healthcare
- Proven experience in improving design processes and fostering a culture of design excellence within a team or organization
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus
