Job Description:
This position is responsible for supporting a variety of behavioral operations/EAP functions coordinating with providers, other behavioral carriers, customers, and internal matrix partners. Confide utilizes the EAP foundation with a concierge, white-glove service approach for every caller/digital user (employee, manager/HR, household member). The Care Coordinator will be responsible for appointment finding, supporting the licensed telephonic clinicians, Crisis and After Hours teams, and personal advocates, consistent follow up on all cases to provide a good customer experience every time.
Responsibilities:
- Independent problem-solver….willing to think outside of the box.
- Participate in implementing tasks related to increasing holistic approach to management of customer cases including meaningful engagement, aftercare follow-up planning, and integration of services with matrix partners.
- Provides information resources to customers, family members, and HCPs on an as-needed basis to assist with problem solving or clarifying aspects of their mental health system (e.g. benefits, claims and community resources) whether they have Cigna Behavioral or not.
- Contributes constructively in team meetings and with matrix partners in a manner to enhance relationships and to improve communication and procedures relevant to team functioning.
- Participate in implementing tasks related to increasing holistic approach to management of customer cases including meaningful engagement, aftercare follow-up planning, and integration of services with matrix partners. Confide CC will work closely with advocates, Licensed Telephonic clinicians, Community Support Program, and the Customer Service Search team.
- Contributes constructively in team meetings and with matrix partners in a manner to enhance relationships and to improve communication and procedures relevant to team functioning.
- Collaborates with Customer service search team as needed conducts Confide-specific customer service searches- ensures Confide provider is also INN with Behavioral carrier
- Routine, urgent and emergent appointment searches for our customers.
- Outreach members to inform of appointments, providers, benefits and community resources. CCs provide information and general encouragement.
- This position requires excellent BA level clinical skills.
- Performs additional tasks/projects as needed, requested or assigned.
- Complies with all Cigna Behavioral Health policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Provides collaborative/cross-functional backup to other team members, other teams, other departments to support current Behavioral Operations workflows/protocols.
- Takes initiative for continued professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 2 year of experience in behavioral health services setting
- Clear understanding of products and services delivered by Cigna
- Preferred knowledge/experience with all behavioral health products and their platforms (CAMS/DG)
- Strong passion for speaking to & assisting customers improve their health, well-being and sense of security
- Partner and collaborate with customers, external behavioral carriers, and providers for a better treatment outcome
- Requires interpersonal skill, judgment, ability to process through change effectively
- Requires the ability to prioritize, switch-task, and organize workload independently
- Ability to take direction and work under supervision concerning all job tasks
