What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Analyst position at The Cigna Group?
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Incumbent will be a member of the Network Solutions & Delivery team: Responsible for leading and delivering on all aspects of select network solution implementations, including designing network configurations and managing the provider data across Network Solutions and Operations (NS&O). The Network Operations Advisor works closely in partnership with the Network Manager and other key matrix partners such as Field contracting, PRSM, Market Deployment Managers (MDM’s) and Strategic Solutions/Product to ensure networks solutions are effectively implemented.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design network configurations utilizing network participation criteria
- Specific TINs Roles, Fee Schedules Specialty Combination or exceptions
- Perform domain analysis in conjunction with solution design activity
- Product guardrails and system capabilities
- Understanding Market intent
- Deep understanding of all dimensions of Provider data
- Responsible for provider implementation of simple to moderately complex network solutions
- Market and client-specific solution structures
- Create local and/or national solutions
- Vary solution to support product or customer needs
- Network definitions and rules
- Define network by PCP role designation, tiering, high performing network
- Define network to support contract requirements
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of provider data quality during implementation
- Establish and develops relationships with key partners
- Develop and implement communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks and timely delivery of initiative results.
- Identify and remove barriers that slow or prevent successful market implementation
KNOWLEDGE:
- Understanding of Provider Data and networks required
- Design experience of network solutions & configurations, 2-3 years preferred
- Network Implementation experience, 3-5 years required
- Understanding of Domain/s (Network, Reimbursement, Contract, Demographic and Relationships)
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of CIGNA Products and systems and structures needed to support the products is valued
- Focused and versatile team player
- Strong ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills
- Strong written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand
- Ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to be detail oriented and task driven
- Results focused with a high degree of curiosity, intelligence, integrity and common business sense
