Salesforce Project Manager

Summary

Our Client is a global leader in the design, development and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Their IT team has an immediate opening for a Salesforce Project Manager. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for delivering Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud technology and will be part of the IT PMO group and report to the Director of IT PMO. The Salesforce Project Manager will work with various business groups to understand demand, collaborate with the business to develop detailed requirements, high level design and technical architecture. They will also lead many of the Agile ceremonies and will ensure the team meets its goals on time and within budget as well as managing integrations across the platform. The ideal candidate will have proven Salesforce product knowledge as well as the ability and experience to demonstrate how they have improved efficiencies in product management using their product expertise.

The role requires strong leadership across multiple teams and departments, the ability to communicate with influence and with a technical aptitude and a strong familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Salesforce project through the SDLC process using an Agile/iterative process
  • Understand the company’s strategic direction and apply it to project team specific outcomes
  • Work directly with the project team and key stakeholders to gather, understand, and define business requirements & process workflows
  • Engage in solution discussions and identify design options, in order to implement technology/business best practices
  • Using JIRA, assist in the development of Epics, User Stories, Tasks and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the Product Backlog according to business value for the life of the project; communicate product backlog priorities
  • Serve as ScrumMaster in order to conduct Scrums, coordinate sprint demos, and conduct Retrospectives with

Development team

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and internal/external partners
  • Assist with various levels of testing (i.e., system, regression, integration, UAT) in order to test and verify that solutions meet business requirements
  • Provide input into the Change Management plan and serve as a Change Agent across the Business
  • Participate in the development of training and user documentation for the system
  • Proactively handle issues, manage/track action items, identify and mitigate risk
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead, facilitate and attend meetings; provide project status reporting to management; prepare and deliver professional and succinct presentations

Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience with Agile methodology and managing IT projects
  • Demonstrable experience using Salesforce to develop business solutions through the full SDLC
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between both functional and development teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs
  • Experience working with various methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid

  • Experience developing test strategies and plans, using widely accepted test methodologies and frameworks and proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assess business needs, and technologies
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills to make efficient, logical decisions in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Proficient with business applications such as: JIRA, Visio, MS Project and Microsoft Office suite

Top Candidates must have:

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud
  • Experience managing projects using Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple strategic projects from end-to-end
  • Demonstrated ability working with stakeholders to drive Salesforce adoption and communicate as a subject matter expert
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment
  • Strong accountability planning and organizational skills, teamwork mindset to empower teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Product Owner Certification

Pay: $136,999.00 per year
