The Headquarters Claims Department is currently seeking a claims examiner for the Express Claims Center. The position requires self-study to secure adjuster licensing within six months of start date. To assist with the training course and exam, examiners are allotted on-site study time.
Starting salary: $42,000 - $50,000, depending on experience.
Be ready to:
- research coverage, investigate and adjust low dollar first and third-party auto and property claims
- communicate directly with policyholders, claimants, agents and repair facilities
- enter information and documentation into CMS and issue loss payments
- compliance with state departments of insurance requirements
- excellent listening and Customer Service skills
- ability to work independently and with a team
- ability to resolve issues through research
- accurate and efficient keyboarding skills
- attend departmental training
- create accurate and timely reports
Be equipped with:
- Excellent service to internal and external customers
- Initiative in assisting and educating other associates
- Obtain multi-state adjuster licensing within 6 months of hire
- Customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge or experience with CMS, or other claims reporting program, helpful
- Knowledge or experience with Microsoft® Office and Excel preferred
You’ve earned:
- High school diploma is required
- Associate's degree or bachelor's degree is preferred
